Questo documento legale è al momento disponibile in inglese.

This is an informational website: it presents the restaurant, its menu and its contact details. It does not currently collect or store personal data through forms. Here we explain which data may be processed and why.

1. Data controller

  • Owner: BURRO & SALVIA S.C. (trading name: Burro & Salvia)
  • Tax ID: J56819907
  • Address: Avenida Rosa de los Vientos, 12, Local 10, Galeón de Adeje, 38670 Adeje, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain
  • Phone: +34 622 297 242
  • Email: burroysalvia@gmail.com

2. Data we process and how we obtain it

  • Bookings: the booking form stores nothing on the website. When you press «Book via WhatsApp», WhatsApp opens with your name, date, time, number of guests and comments already written, and we only receive them if you send the message. The «Book» buttons open a WhatsApp chat with the restaurant directly.
  • Contact form: it stores nothing on the website either. When you press «Send via WhatsApp», WhatsApp opens with your name, email and message already written, and we only receive them if you send the message.
  • Phone calls and WhatsApp or Instagram messages: if you contact us through these channels, we process the details you give us (name, phone, booking or enquiry details).
  • Technical browsing data: when you visit the site, your browser sends your IP address and technical data to the hosting provider.
  • Google Maps map: only if you accept it in the cookie notice, the contact page loads the map and Google receives browsing data.
  • Preferences stored on your device: your language and your cookie choice (see the Cookie Policy).

3. Purposes and legal basis

  • Answering enquiries and handling bookings requested by phone, WhatsApp or Instagram: steps taken at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Serving the website securely and with its design: legitimate interest in the site's technical operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Loading the Google Maps map: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

4. Whether data is required

To handle a booking or answer an enquiry we need at least a name and a way to contact you. Without them we cannot deal with your request. We do not make automated decisions or create profiles.

5. Recipients and providers

  • Website hosting provider: Lovable, which serves the website through the Cloudflare network.
  • Google (only if you accept the Google Maps map): Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC.
  • Meta Platforms (WhatsApp and Instagram), when you choose to message us or book through them, under its own terms.
  • We do not share data with third parties unless legally required.

6. International transfers

Google and Meta may process data in the United States. Both companies participate in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as an adequate safeguard.

7. Retention

Booking and enquiry data are kept for as long as needed to deal with them and then for the limitation periods of any legal liability. As a rule, booking or enquiry data are deleted within one year at the latest, unless the law requires keeping them longer. Your cookie choice is stored in your browser until you change it or clear the site data.

8. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by contacting burroysalvia@gmail.com or by post at Avenida Rosa de los Vientos, 12, Local 10, Galeón de Adeje, 38670 Adeje, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain, stating the right you are exercising and proving your identity.

You can withdraw your consent for Google Maps at any time from “Cookie settings” in the footer. Withdrawing it does not affect processing carried out before.

If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
